The famous cake auction will return to the Step Up for Autism event on Saturday, September 26.

The cake auction will begin at noon in the Conference Center at The Resource Center, 200 Dunham Avenue in Jamestown (the former Celoron school building).  More than 20 area businesses and individuals have donated cakes, pies, cupcakes, and cookies for the auction.  Several of those donating goodies are known for their creative concoctions.

This year’s auctioneers will include Mark Goshgarian, a Video Journalist with Time Warner Cable News; Paul Hoefler, a local media personality and entertainer; and Steve Waterson, The Resource Center’s Community Relations Director.

Businesses that have agreed to donate an item for the auction include The Cupcake Place, Ecklof Bakery, Elegant Edibles, Farm Fresh Bakery, Friendly’s, Mindy’s Place, Plaza Restaurant, Sam’s Club, Sweet Perfections, 3C’s Catering, and Tops (Foote Avenue).
